The conference will be held in the Congress Centre of the Park Inn Hotel Ostrava, Hornopolní Street 3313/42, Ostrava, Czech Republic (www.ostrava.parkinn.cz). Ostrava is the metropolis of the Moravian-Silesian region. It is the third largest city in the Czech Republic. It has avery advantageous strategic position, being located about 10 km south from the border with Poland and 50 kilometers west from the border with Slovakia. Ostrava has a good air connection with Prague (1 hour flight).

English will be the official language of the Conference for both oral and written presentation.

The papers presented at the conference will be published in two volumes of a Czech reviewed METALLURGICAL JOURNAL (www.Metallurgicaljournal.eu). They will be available at the time of the conference and will be distributed to all participants at the registration desk.
